"Martin Walker and the Pleasures of the Périgord"

Domaine de la Barde is proud to host “Your American Friend in Paris” Terrance Gelenter’s Martin Walker and the Pleasures of the Périgord Tours.

Join Terrance for 6 days and 5 nights in the heart of Le Périgord with us – Tim, Krys and family – at our beautiful home featured in Martin’s latest book “ A Grave in the Woods.”

Here at Domaine de la Barde we offer elegant accommodation and lavish meals featuring the rich cuisine of the Périgord, accompanied with local wines which we are sure you’ll enjoy.

A highlight of your visit will be a day in Le Bugue (the real life Saint Denis and home of Bruno) with Martin Walker (the famous author of the Bruno Chief of Police detective series) which will include a Périgourdian lunch drinking cuvée Bruno at Martin’s home.
